칼럼, 민족통일 임시정부를 제안한다.

오곡이 탐스럽게 익어가는 완연한 가을이 왔습니다.

눈부시게 빛나는 황금 들녘을 바라보며 최근 남북ㆍ국제관계에 의한 한반도 긴장이 위험수위를 넘고 있다고 판단됩니다.

오늘은 제4354주년 개천절입니다.

개천절은 1919년 3.1혁명을 계승한 상해임시정부가 개천절을 민족의 기념일로 정해 오늘에 이른 역사가 있습니다.

상해 임시정부의 주석이 바로 동학접주 출신이고, 동학혁명에 참여한 백범 김구 선생입니다.

또한 동학혁명 때 동학군 통령으로 전봉준 대장과 항일의병을 진두 지휘한 의암(義菴) 손병희 선생이 있습니다.

의암(義菴) 선생은 동학 천도교 제3세 교조로 3.1독립혁명 33인 민족대표의 대표로서 독립선언서에 제일먼저 서명하고 3.1운동을 영도한 민족지도자입니다.

또한 1919년 3월 21일 블라디보스톡의 대한국민의회 노령(露領) 임시정부가 (임시정부를 가장 먼저 선포함) 의암 손병희 선생을 대통령에 추대한바 있습니다.

이러한 역사를 살펴보면서, 동학 천도교 총본부가 있는 수운회관에 통일임시정부 간판을 걸어야 할 명분이 있다는 것을 다시 제안하고자 합니다.

궁을기(弓乙旗) 형상이 태극이요 궁궁(弓弓)이라는, 수운 대신사님의 말씀 속에 옥새의 참뜻이 담겨있습니다.

'동학민족통일회, 동학농민혁명유족회'가 나서 주십시요.

때는 그 때가 있습니다.

그 때가 지금입니다.
